Mike Robinson and Spike were 4<sup>th<\/sup> and 5<sup>th<\/sup> M50\u2019s respectively. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportident.co.uk\/results\/Kong\/2023\/WinterR1\">Results.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The maps below are Tom Saville\u2019s Strava tracks from the Elite race at last weekend\u2019s OMM and constitute a couple of proper days out. The Bad Boy also decided the 2023 winner of the Eric Mitchell Trophy in which a deeply opaque handicapping algorithm is applied to finishing times so that runners in any of the age categories and of either sex have an equal-ish chance of winning. This year, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place finisher and M50 Tom Brunt took possession of the coveted glass bowl and will get to choose which of next year\u2019s DPFR races will be used for his defence. <a href=\"https:\/\/dpfr.org.uk\/wp_dpfr\/dpfr_results\/845028\">Results.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><u>Upcoming races<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Sunday 5<sup>th<\/sup> November &#8211; Peak Raid MM.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday 12<sup>th<\/sup> November \u2013 Roaches, one of the better autumn races.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday 12<sup>th<\/sup> November \u2013 Leg it Round Lathkil.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 18<sup>th<\/sup> November \u2013 Tour of Pendle, the year\u2019s last AL and a highly recommended outing which, if it\u2019s not already there, you need on your cv.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 25<sup>th<\/sup> November \u2013 Club champs and dinner.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 25<sup>th<\/sup> November \u2013 Baslow Bolt. (I\u2019ll wager that the Club champs race will be both better and cheaper!)<\/p>\n<p>Sunday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> December &#8211; Peak Raid MM. Pre-entry via SiEntries.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> December \u2013 Gravy Pud, Tintwhistle.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 16<sup>th<\/sup> December \u2013 Winter Crookstone Crashout. Classic DPFR fare and not to be missed under any circumstances. Carsharing essential as parking is limited. The full route will be revealed at a later date but you can be certain that it will finish with the traditional quad busting descent from Crookstone Knoll back down to Rowley Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday 26<sup>th<\/sup> December \u2013 Totley Two Turtle Doves, from behind The Cricket Inn. EoD, but pre-entry is cheaper.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday 14<sup>th<\/sup> January \u2013 Trigger. Approximately 24 miles of Type 2 fun.
