Lisa Watson’s write up of the Hodgson Brothers Mountain Relay<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Great running this weekend at the Hodgson relays, we had 3 teams out: mens, mens v40 and ladies. It was wet, windy and foggy making<\/span> for exciting racing, but nicely cleared up for the finish. Well done all!<\/p>\n

MV40 team 3rd<\/sup>. (Austin Frost, John Hunt, Will Boothman, Neil Northrop, Simon Mills, Ralph Skrimshire, Tom Brunt, Oli Johnson)<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s team 4th<\/sup>, only pipped by Howgill harriers by a second! (Cynog Williams, Will Gratton, Alex Mason, Tom Saville, Joe Woodley, Henry Webb, Finlay Grant, Edward Corden)<\/p>\n

Shelf Moor \u2013 The conclusion of the English Championships with 58 Dark Peak Fell Runners flying the flag! Our winning women\u2019s team were led home by Phillipa Williams, who won her 4th<\/sup> championship race of the year with Lisa Watson 8th<\/sup> and Harriet Wingfield 13th<\/sup>. The men\u2019s team of Finlay Grant 4th<\/sup>, Jonathon Crickmore 7th<\/sup> and Edward Corden 9th<\/sup> also took 1st<\/sup> place. Other notable performances in the various age categories include: WU23\u2019s – Catrin Smith 3rd<\/sup>, Alice Gamble 4th<\/sup>. MU23\u2019s \u2013 Finlay Grant, Edward Corden, Tom Perry, Cynog Williams, Alex Mason and Henry Webb swept all before them by filling the first six places! W40\u2019s – Rachel Rose 1st<\/sup>. M40\u2019s \u2013 Oli Johnson 2nd<\/sup>, Pete Hodges 5th<\/sup>. M45\u2019s \u2013 Will Boothman 4th<\/sup>. W50\u2019s \u2013 Helen Elmore 4th<\/sup>, Jenny Caddick 5th<\/sup>. W55\u2019s \u2013 Liz Batt 2nd<\/sup>. M55\u2019s \u2013 Mike Nolan 3rd<\/sup>, John Hunt 5th<\/sup>. W60\u2019s \u2013 Jane Crowson 1st<\/sup>. M60\u2019s \u2013 Jon Batt 3rd<\/sup>. The FRA statisticians will publish the final standings in the various championships shortly.<\/p>\n
