Congratulations to Tom Brunt who last \u201cSaturday \u2026 had a run across the Lakes in unseasonably hot conditions to complete a Joss Naylor Lakeland Challenge crossing in 11:47, just ducking inside the demanding 12 hour limit for MV50 runners. Great day on the hills with a small (but select) support crew including fellow Dark Peaker Jack Foxall who heroically stepped in to support on legs 3 and 4 when my original crew came down with Covid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jennie Stevens, 2nd<\/sup> female finisher and 8th<\/sup> overall at the \u2018Ring of Fire\u2019 that circumnavigates Anglesey in 135 miles over three days.<\/p>\n Jon Moulding has also been spotted clocking up the miles, a hundred of them in fact, by completing the Peak District Millstone 100 in just under 30 hours.<\/p>\n Past races<\/u><\/p>\n Longshaw Sheepdog Trails \u2013 With 8 of the first 9 finishers I suspect that Dark Peak were handily placed for the men\u2019s team prize. Will Gratton was 1st<\/sup>, Henry Webb 3rd<\/sup> and 1st<\/sup> MU23, Euan Patton 6th<\/sup> and 1st<\/sup> MU19. Not to be outdone Anna Watkinson-Powell 2nd<\/sup>, Molly Frost 3rd<\/sup> and Catrin Smith 4th<\/sup> in the women\u2019s race must have accounted for the women\u2019s team prize. Results\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n \u00a0Totley Exterminator \u2013 Paul Fauset 1st<\/sup>, Neil Northrop 2nd<\/sup> and Hal Roberts 3rd<\/sup>.
