\nSunday clashes with the Sedbergh Hills Champs race but all attendees are
\nwelcome to attend for any part of the weekend. There will be a race taking in
\nBamford Edge and Win Hill on the Saturday morning and then a mini Olympics on
\nthe Saturday afternoon followed by a BBQ. Camping costs will be \u00a37 per night. <\/p>\n
\nagain be organised by Matt Pickering. Details of sign up will be circulated in
\nSeptember. The Club dinner will again be held at the Burton Street Foundation,
\nsign up also to be shared in due course. Form of entertainment TBC after much
\ndebate at the AGM. <\/p>\n
\nland that is currently being actively restored in the Dovestone Clough Area.
\nThis area was used as part of the 2019 Relays hosted by Dark Peak. Please avoid
\nusing this area on any club runs or races and runners are encouraged to adopt
\nalternative routes on their own runs. See area below highlighting the damaged
\narea (orange route) and potential diversion route (via green route).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\nhas now taken on the role of Training Officer. He is looking to organise
\nfurther First Aid and Navigation courses. Please contact him if there would be
\nof interest. There are a small number of spaces left on the Club First Aid
\ncourse on the 11\/12 August (please get in touch if interested). We expect to host a Nav course in the Autumn with
\nfurther dates for first aid to be confirmed. <\/p>\n
\nto complete redevelopment of the club hut to better utilise the space. This
\nwill include redistribution of the racking areas to facilitate better storage
\nand creation of segregated changing areas at the field end of the hut. The Club
\nis planning a working party weekend on the 11th and 12th August. The aim of the
\nday will be to clear out unused items, install racking and make preparations
\nfor the new changing areas which will be installed on a further working party
\nweekend in September. The club will fund lunch from the Sportsman for all
\nvolunteers and we will aim to have a Morning or Evening social run each day. <\/p>\n
\nthat we have a large number of dedicated younger runners who are currently
\nunwaged and that we are also going through a period of exceptional economic
\ntimes where some may be facing hardship. To support members we have budgeted
\nfor a small pot of money to act as a fund to support runners who might be
\nexcluded on cost grounds. The fund will also support activities that develop
\nyounger runners. The fund will be managed on an application basis. Suggested
\ncosts could be race entry fees, travel expenses etc. Please send all
\napplications through to the Chairman and Secretary and these will be reviewed
\nwith the Club Committee. Please provide as much notice as possible so
\nproposals can be properly considered.<\/p>\n
