English Championships<\/u><\/p>\n

James Lowe reports elsewhere that \u201cFairfield Results (are) in. I make us first men\u2019s team and second women\u2019s with another cracking win (by 6 minutes!!!) from Phillipa Williams<\/a> and a stonking 5th and 1st U23 for Fin Grant! A huge turnout from the club and lots of great performances, amazing team effort!\u201d. At the sharp end of the men\u2019s race Finlay Grant was 5th<\/sup> and 1st<\/sup> MU23 with Nathan Lawson 8th<\/sup>, Edward Corden 12th<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> MU23 with Bertie Houghton 14th<\/sup>. As above, Phillipa won the won\u2019s race by a whopping 5 minutes 52 seconds and has now won both of the English Championship medium counters. Despina Berdini was 14th<\/sup>, Lisa Watson 16th<\/sup> with Sally Fawcett 25th<\/sup> and 5th<\/sup> W40. In the age categories Will Boothman was 3rd<\/sup> M45, John Hunt 1st<\/sup> M55, Joe Blackett 5th<\/sup> M55, Andy Barnett 9th<\/sup> M60, Keith Holmes 8th<\/sup> M65, Rachel Rose 6th<\/sup> W40 and last, but by no means least, Jane Crowson was 2nd<\/sup> F60.
