We noted the great turnout at Club runs throughout the Winter and were<br \/>\nreally happy with the uptick in attendance at Club Races.<\/p>\n<p>A number of follow<br \/>\nup points.<\/p>\n<p><u>Club Website<\/u><\/p>\n<p>The club website is<br \/>\nbeing redeveloped to try and make it more resilient. This is being built in<br \/>\nWordPress, the technology used for lots of websites. We will be looking to<br \/>\nrefresh the content, alter the menu structure and do a bit of general sprucing<br \/>\nup. We would welcome feedback from club members on what they think the website<br \/>\nshould offer and anything that might be improved as we migrate to a new format.\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/JPZPYJazhu2NfD5LA\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/JPZPYJazhu2NfD5LA<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Coaching Survey<\/u><\/p>\n<p>There have been a<br \/>\nnumber of queries in recent months about club coaching. For a number of years<br \/>\nDave Taylor has kindly run sessions for the club but these have not always been<br \/>\nwell attended. We would like to get a better understanding of the demand for &#8216;coaching&#8217;<br \/>\nin the club, in terms of type of session and frequency. Please could interested<br \/>\nparties fill in the survey linked below. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/j5hXtDXzDYHdSV28A\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/j5hXtDXzDYHdSV28A<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>First Aid Sign up<\/u><\/p>\n<p>The club is running<br \/>\nanother Outdoor First Aid course on the weekend of the 11th and 12th August.<br \/>\nThis is free to club members. To sign up for the weekend please fill out the<br \/>\nform at the link below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/7ytMg3LKifheWHDW9\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/7ytMg3LKifheWHDW9<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Navigation Training Sign up <\/u><\/p>\n<p>Given recent growth<br \/>\nin the club and increasing uptake in attendance at club races and runs we are<br \/>\nrunning a pair of Navigation training sessions with the aim of upskilling club<br \/>\nmembers. There will be two sessions (6 attendees per session);<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Novices, held on Saturday<br \/>\n     29th April<\/li>\n<li>Improvers, held of Sunday<br \/>\n     30th April.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sessions are being<br \/>\nrun by Dave Taylor, a professional running guide and DPFR club member. Sessions<br \/>\nwill be free to club members.
