Some may have noticed that this week’s choice of runs are ‘Sportsman Rough Stuff’ or ‘Winter Kinder’ (which is inevitably rough stuff). This is purposefully an attempt to have one winter week to force people on to more ‘exciting’ terrain (which used to be the only offr-road option!).<\/p>\n
The Winter Kinder will start from Blackden layby (Calendar now updated sorry for missing this previously). Being out on Kinder in Winter is always an amazing experience and it’s nice to have calm conditions forecast. Regardless of this please pack properly. A twisted ankle on Kinder could leave to many hours worth of evacuation with mild hypothermia a best case! <\/p>\n
For those from the Sportsman it may be decided to shun the ‘rough stuff’ but it is encouraged to give this a go. There will no doubt be an alternative trail option. <\/p>\n
