Moz\u2019s Birthday Run \u2013 Finlay Grant was the wide margin winner from a small but select field that included an early bidder for the Pertex Trophy. Results<\/a> <\/p>\n

Trigger \u2013 A tough race, too tough for your correspondent in fact. Tom Saville (3rd<\/sup>), Will Boothman (9th<\/sup> & 1st<\/sup> M40) and Josh Williams (11th<\/sup>) carried off the men\u2019s team prize. There were also category prizes for Ralph Skrimshire (3rd<\/sup> M40), Chris Lawson (2nd<\/sup> M50), Nicky Spinks (1st<\/sup> F50), Paul Addison (2nd<\/sup> M60) and Keith Holmes (3rd<\/sup>M60). Results<\/a> <\/p>\n

Round Sheffield Run \u2013 It ain\u2019t fell running but a popular outing nevertheless with over 1,500 starters. Amongst the dozen brown vests, Sally Fawcett was 1st<\/sup> F40 and Helen Elmore 1st<\/sup> F50. Results<\/a><\/p>\n

Wednesday 18th<\/sup> January \u2013 Fairholmes Night Race. A DPFR race, see Calendar. <\/p>\n

Saturday 21st<\/sup> January \u2013 Ashop Horseshoe. The 4th<\/sup> running of this DPFR race. Current records to beat are Men 1:23:31 Tom Brunt and Women Sarah Lilleman 1:54:15. The Debrief and (probably) prize giving will be at The Anglers in Bamford at 12:00.<\/p>\n

Sunday 29th<\/sup> January \u2013 Tigger Tor, from Ringinglow. Pre-entry only and it\u2019s full.<\/p>\n

Saturday 4th<\/sup> February \u2013 Margery Hill which, for my money, is both the best and the gnarliest of the DPFR races. Not to be underestimated and be very very careful in bad weather!<\/p>\n
