Crookstone Crashouts, that have been run twice yearly come hell or high water since he was a much younger man. New R.O. Tom Saville will be stepping into a sizable pair of Mudclaws when the race is next run in the summer and it\u2019s a racing certainty that Andy will be in the field.<\/p>\n<p><u>Past races<\/u>  <\/p>\n<p>Dark Peak Stones \u2013 Oli Johnson held off Tom Brunt by a handful of seconds with Jack Foxall only a minute or so behind. Anna Watkinson-Powell, the only woman in the field, had an excellent run to finish 5<sup>th<\/sup> overall. This race was chosen to contest the Eric Mitchell Trophy which, once the age category handicaps had been calculated was won by M75 Mick Cochrane. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dpfr.org.uk\/results\/view\/5873\">Results<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Crookstone Crashout \u2013 Tom Saville 1<sup>st<\/sup> man. Penny Collier and Sarah Broadhurst 1<sup>st<\/sup>= women. Full results pending.<\/p>\n<p><u>Upcoming races<\/u>  <\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 21<sup>st<\/sup> December \u2013 Headstone Carols, an event suitable for the tone deaf, followed by curry which will be on offer at The Sportsman.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 24<sup>th<\/sup> December \u2013 Christmas Eve Breakfast Run<\/p>\n<p>Monday 26<sup>th<\/sup> December \u2013 Boxing Day Bogtrot, from Burbage Bridge<\/p>\n<p>Monday 26<sup>th<\/sup> December \u2013 Two Turtle Doves, from Totley AC Pavillion. Pre-entry only.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 7<sup>th<\/sup> January \u2013 Moz\u2019s Birthday Run. One of the very best of the Dark Peak races. Highly recommended.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday 8<sup>th<\/sup> January \u2013 Trigger.
