A bit thankyou to Dickie Fingers for his navigational skills. At Dead Edge 8 of us disrobed, 2 opting to wear mankinis. I must admit I found it all hilarious – it's not often do you get to see quite so much Andy Harmer & Willy Kitchen. The going was easier on the homeward leg as we were all nicely warmed up.

Back at the dam wall a variety of (family) spectators greeted us with (not quite) open arms. Commemorative bottles of MR ale, pepperamis & certificates were presented to all runners. A special mention must go to Chris Beaven who actually filmed the starkers bit by means of a head cam, can't wait to see that ! And star of the day was Russell Beresford who'd cycled over from Sheffield especially to take part, top man !

Can't believe I haven't done this sort of thing sooner !
