The course is aimed as an introduction to navigation but if there are more experienced runners, we can adapt the subjects areas covered to a more advanced level. It will be a practical course so you will be out on the hills.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Location &#8211; Langsett<\/li>\n<li>Time &#8211; TBC<\/li>\n<li>Cost &#8211; &pound;10<\/li>\n<li>Limit- 15 first come basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><span id=\"cke_bm_93S\" style=\"display: none;\">&nbsp;<\/span>The course will cover the following subjects plus much more:<span id=\"cke_bm_93E\" style=\"display: none;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"cke_bm_92E\" style=\"display: none;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic safety on the fells<\/li>\n<li>Navigation equipment required<\/li>\n<li>Reading a map<\/li>\n<li>Navigation skills<\/li>\n<li>Grid references<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>In addition all participants will also receive a hard copy of Martin Bagness&#39;s leaflet &#39;Mountain Navigation for Runners&#39; plus there will be tea and coffee supplied.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Further details will be sent out once you have signed up.
