This Barnett\/Nolan production has been threatened for a couple of years now and we must have done a dozen training runs around it &#8211; but still get lost in Bretton Clough!&nbsp; Basically its a down hill start to stoke ford followed by a high level loop around the moors above Abney. Climbing Sir William hill at the end. Lots of good going, great views and a rough climb at the end to please the traditionalists!<\/p>\n<p>\n\tStart;&nbsp; Sir William Hill Road (Junction with rough track)&nbsp; 224 780<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCP1: &nbsp;Stoke Ford Bridge:&nbsp; 211 796<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCP2: &nbsp;Path junction south of Oakes farm: 210 798<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCP3: &nbsp;Stile from road to open moor: 185 802<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCP4: &nbsp;Stile on south side of stream in Bretton Clough: 189 783<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCP5: &nbsp;Gate at end of Bretton Clough: &nbsp;210 789<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCP6: &nbsp;Sir William Hill Trig&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;215 779<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFinish: Sir William Hill Road (Junction with rough track)&nbsp; 224 780<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Distance: 8.5 miles&nbsp;&nbsp; climb: 1450 feet&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Estimated winning time: 60 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Notes:<\/strong> The route contains a mixture of footpaths and open ground. The south side of Bretton Clough is access land but please respect the boundaries. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openaccess.naturalengland.org.uk\/\">www.openaccess.naturalengland.org.uk<\/a> . Take care to follow the footpath to the south of Oakes farm and not into the farm!
