\n\tIt is with deep sadness that we have to report the death of Fred Rogerson at the age of 89. <\/p>\n
\n\tFred was the founder, and chairman for 28 years, of the Bob Graham 24 Hour Club.<\/p>\n
\n\tFor many Dark Peakers who have completed the Bob Graham Round Fred was a familiar figure as he attended many of our club attempts usually turning up at Dunmail and at various points or route and always offering support and encouragement when needed. <\/p>\n
\n\tMany of us also had the pleasure of receiving our certificates from him at the Bob Graham dinner. A true legend of our sport who will be missed<\/p>\n
\n\tFred's funeral will take place at 10.15 am on Friday 5 November 2010 at Lancaster Crematorium followed by a service at 12 noon at St Martin's Church, Bowness.<\/p>\n
