The Relay is in 8 stages and is won in about 6<br \/>\nhours <\/p>\n<p>The 2009 Rowbotham\u2019s Round Rotherham International Trail Event of 80 km, 50 miles, an<br \/>\nundulating route through the South Yorkshire Forest (The area<br \/>\ndesignated as The South Yorkshire Forest is mainly rural land rather<br \/>\nthan a vast area of woodland) on Saturday, 17th October, 2009 from Dearne Valley College <\/p>\n<p>Starts: Walkers 6AM, Runners 7AM, Relay 8AM <\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\nRound Rotherham is a qualifying event for the Ultra-Trail du<br \/>\nMont-Blanc\u00ae, can also be used as a qualifying event for the LDWA<br \/>\n100-mile event and is used as a training event for the Marathon de<br \/>\nSables. Bob Berzins and Alan Yates have completed ten events.<br \/>\nKev Saville attempted this event after a Firm\u2019s Do &#038; ~10 pints,<br \/>\nAndy Forsyth won the event in 1986 in a time of 6 hours 38. This will<br \/>\nbe my tenth event. <\/p>\n<p>Good food, great support and varied terrain<br \/>\nand scenery, surprisingly interesting and enjoyable!
