Dolni Morava is a remote mountain village, forestry and winter ski-ing. They\\&#8217;d put enormous effort into staging the race, superbly organised and a credit to the host nation. A hard course, 5km flattish and 5km up those ski slopes &#8211; much harder in 30degrees plus of sun and heat. The evening excelled, some usual locally flavoured entertainment, awards etc. Later on we missed \\&#8221;Hanky Panky\\&#8221; &#8211; the midnight transvestite act, and Elvis was on stage about 1am.The music calmed down about 4am&#8230; Certain notable Fellrunner dignitaries prominent as the night wore on, it seems&#8230;.<br \/>\n   Ist V75 for Alex Menarry, 1st V60 Team (I was 14th and 5th Counter, 3 to count&#8230;)3rd for Ben Grant, Evelyn Dugdale, Craig Robert,and others&#8230;<br \/>\n    So next year it\\&#8217;s a similar early September in Zagreb, Croatia &#8211; can\\&#8217;t recommend the Uphill Masters highly enough. <a href=\\\"http:\/\/wmmr2008.sportsoft.cz\/catresults.aspx?r=1&#038;lng=en\\\">Full results<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Uphill Masters &#8211; another completely excellent event this year.
