English championships<\/u><\/p>\n

The final standings in the English Championships were finalised this week. Our teams accumulated three 2nd<\/sup> places a 3rd<\/sup> and two 4th<\/sup>\u2019s. There were individual medals for Alex Mason 2nd<\/sup> MU23, John Hunt 2nd<\/sup> M55, Keith Holmes 3rd<\/sup> M65, Dave Tait 3rd<\/sup> M70 and 1st<\/sup> M75 last, but by no means least, Majka Kunicka 3rd<\/sup> W40. Congratulations to all of them and the many others who contributed the our team successes.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s open 2nd<\/sup>, with Keswick well clear. Joe Woodley 20th<\/sup>, Nathan Lawson 23rd<\/sup>, Josh Williams 24th<\/sup>, Alex Mason 26th<\/sup> and Tom Saville 28th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

MU23\u2019s Alex Mason 2nd <\/sup>, Chet Gillespie 5th<\/sup> and Finlay Grant 7th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

M40\u2019s 4th<\/sup>, only 3 points behind both Helm Hill and Horwich RMI. Will Boothman 11th<\/sup> and John Hunt 17th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

M45\u2019s John Hunt 12th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

M50\u2019s 3rd<\/sup>, only 2 points behind Helm Hill. John Hunt 5th<\/sup>, Joe Blackett 13th<\/sup> and Simon Patton18th. <\/p>\n

M55\u2019s John Hunt 2nd<\/sup> and Joe Blackett 7th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

M60\u2019s 2nd<\/sup>, but as less than four clubs competed in four or more races there is no M60 championship. Andy Barnett 10th<\/sup> and Keith Holmes 20th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

M65\u2019s Keith Holmes 3rd<\/sup>. <\/p>\n

M70\u2019s Dave Tait 3rd<\/sup>. <\/p>\n

M75\u2019s Dave Tait 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s open 2nd<\/sup>, with Helm Hill well clear. Majka Kunicka 8th<\/sup>, Lisa Watson 23rd<\/sup> , Rachel Rose and Beth Nadin 27th<\/sup>=, Sally Fawcett 30th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

WU23\u2019s Madeleine Davis 9th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

W40\u2019s 4th<\/sup>, 4 points behind 3rd<\/sup> placed Todmorden. Majka Kunicka 3rd<\/sup>, Sally Fawcett 16th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

W50\u2019s Helen Elmore 11th<\/sup>, Jenny Caddick 18th<\/sup> and Alison Wainwright 20th<\/sup>. <\/p>\n

Wirksworth Undulator \u2013 Dave Beerling writes \u2018<\/span>We got lucky with the weather\u2026 it cleared a mile after we set off. Sounds like it was worse at Windgather.\u2019 Results<\/a> <\/p>\n

Windgather \u2013 A bit damp by all accounts. Pete Davies, Paul Addison and Keith Holmes were 2nd<\/sup> M40, M60 and M65 respectively. Results<\/a> <\/p>\n
