The race follows the Coast to Coast path from St. Bees to Robin Hood\u2019s Bay and involves about 192 miles and 20,000 feet of ascent. A fine effort too by Sophie Littlefair who was 5<sup>th<\/sup> in 65:16:45.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/blog\/pictures\/2022-04-10--Lisa-Northern-Traverse.jpg-web.png\" alt=\"2022-04-10--Lisa-Northern-Traverse.jpg-web.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lisa\u2019s sprint finish at Robin Hood\u2019s Bay.<\/p>\n<p>Kinder Mountain Rescue Team are recruiting <a href=\"https:\/\/kmrt.org.uk\/joining-the-team\">here!<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Past events<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Chicken Run \u2013 Josh Williams 4<sup>th<\/sup>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dpfr.org.uk\/results\/view\/5740\">Results.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mourne Seven Sevens \u2013 Finlay Wild of Lochaber broke the course record to win the first of the four British Championship races races by a wide margin, with Victoria Thompson of Helm Hill winning the women\u2019s race. There were a dozen Brown Vests in the field and some notable performances. Oli Johnson was 1<sup>st<\/sup> M40 and 9<sup>th<\/sup> overall with Pete Davies 4<sup>th<\/sup> M40. We had strength in depth in the M50\u2019s with Mike Robinson 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, Dave Taylor 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and Jon Morgan 7<sup>th<\/sup>. Keith Holmes was 5<sup>th<\/sup> M60. In the women\u2019s race Rachel Thorley and Helen Elmore were 7<sup>th<\/sup> and 8<sup>th<\/sup> overall with Helen winning the F50\u2019s. Rumour has it that the DPFR M40 and M50 teams both won. The race is full.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 20<sup>th<\/sup> April \u2013 Herod Farm. From Glossop and well worth the effort of getting there.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday 21<sup>st<\/sup> April \u2013 Hartcliff Hill. From Langsett and it\u2019s fast and furious as I recall.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> April \u2013 Triple Crossing.
