The leading Dark Peak Fell Runners were 6<sup>th<\/sup> Will Carter, 9<sup>th<\/sup> John Hunt, 27<sup>th<\/sup> Keith Holmes and 29<sup>th<\/sup> Alison Wainwright. The series was the brainchild of our very own James Lowe and I thought it was a great excuse to run a good number of new-to-me races. <a href=\"https:\/\/fellrunner.org.uk\/results\/champs21\/50at50\/Final-FRA-50@50-standings_-_31st-December-2021.pdf\">Final standings.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 12 Trigs of Christmas competition concludes tomorrow and an unnamed party pooper has gone and spoilt things a bit at the top of the table by spending New Year in the Highlands tramping many a damp and misty mile to visit far flung Trigs. However, there is something of an unexpected dog fight going on at the bottom of the table to see who can accrue the fewest points with the full 12 Trigs. The third running of this DPFR race and the first not to be a time trial. Sandy Heys Trig has been added as an additional checkpoint to increase the amount of off piste running.
