Details in the News section of the website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dpfr.org.uk\/posts\/view\/2128\">here.<\/a> The question as to whether or not Stanage Pole is a Trig Point or not has already been posed. It is marked as such on O.S. maps but there is no triangulation pillar. Some Googling has revealed that it is an \u201cIntersected Station\u201d. Intersected Stations are \u201cpre-existing structures, such as church towers, weather vanes etc, which were surveyed to where an installed mark would not be visible\u201d. Every day\u2019s a school day!<\/p>\n<p><u>Lakeland Classics <\/u><\/p>\n<p>Langdale is an English Championship counter next year so the Lakeland Classics Trophy races will be:<\/p>\n<p>4<sup>th<\/sup> June               Duddon<\/p>\n<p>11<sup>th<\/sup> June             Ennerdale<\/p>\n<p>25<sup>th<\/sup> June             Buttermere<\/p>\n<p>9<sup>th<\/sup> July                 Wasdale<\/p>\n<p>6<sup>th<\/sup> August             Borrowdale<\/p>\n<p>17<sup>th<\/sup> September    Three Shires<\/p>\n<p>Best three performances to count, that must include a minimum of two \u2018Super Longs\u2019. The Super Longs are the first four races. The 10<sup>th<\/sup> edition of this mid-winter classic that has raised much gold for Woodhead MRT over the years.
