The high ideals of this meet were to provide the opportunity for younger runners to gain experience in the hills, to potentially take the step up from thrashing round in the peat bogs in the Pennines to bigger mountain adventures. Dark Peak were well represented across the whole of the experience spectrum. Saturday, saw us hiding away from the brisk westerlies by heading out from Croesor in two groups taking in various bits of Cnicht and the Moelwyns. Sunday, the majority took on the direct ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon): straight up Cwm Glas Bach.
