LiRF & CiRF – run leader training<\/p>\n
The LiRF & CiRF courses are the entry level coaching courses offered by UK Athletic, to enable people to formally lead running groups. Juniors have the agreement of the club to pay course fees for 2 LiRF and 1 CiRF following the AGM. If this is something you’d like to do please talk to Lewis or one of the other group leaders. Its important that we keep on training new leaders, it helps to improve the body of knowledge and spread out the capabilities. If we don’t keep adding to the talent pool, the Juniors will not be sustainable. So please do step forwards.<\/p>\n
Northern Athletics Cross Country Relays at Graves Park, Sheffield on Saturday 23rd October – Euan Patton was back in action. This time in the U17B team for Hallamshire. Johan Patton was in the Senior men’s race, also representing Hallamshire. <\/p>\n
The provisional details for the Junior sessions for the half term to Christmas have been published in the calendar<\/a>. We are skipping Sunday November 21st, as it is the day after the Club dinner and it’s not desirable to dig our group leaders out of bed on this occasion. <\/p>\n
