The fastest times of the week were recorded by Martin Evans (43:36) and new member to be Rachel Thorley (45:22). Ken Jones ran away with the handicap but, as his email shows, none of the rest of us stood a chance. <\/p>\n<p>Ken writes: \u201c\u2026 I had a superb run. The elements were kind and the fell running gods smiled down on me. But more importantly, I read the instruction manual for my new shorts and ensured they were not on back to front. Then, with less cruising and more effort I finally peaked in the last race of the series to my utter joy. I only wish I\u2019d bought some new shorts years ago, what a difference they make!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/blog\/pictures\/2020-09-12--Sprunce-race-16.jpg-web.png\" alt=\"2020-09-12--Sprunce-race-16.jpg-web.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I have been surprised by the popularity of the Sprunce Series and so, depending on the Covid situation, am open to running another series next year.
