
  
{"id":3354,"date":"2020-07-17T09:59:50","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T09:59:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dpfr.org.uk\/wp_dpfr\/?p=3354"},"modified":"2020-07-19T03:05:19","modified_gmt":"2020-07-19T03:05:19","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dpfr.org.uk\/wp_dpfr\/3354","title":{"rendered":"Sprunce Race 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Underfoot conditions for Race 8 of Tha Sprunce were quicker than had been the case for the previous week or so and race times generally reflected that with Ralph Skrimshire and Sally Fawcett running the fastest times of the week and the inventor of the handicap won the handicap.<\/p>\n<p>    Several runners reported being slowed by inquisitive cows in the field heading back down to the A57 and excuse of the week was furnished by Ken Jones who wrote: \u201cA poor week, slower than last week by one minute! Can\u2019t understand it, I can only put it down to having my hair cut earlier in the week.\u201d<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/blog\/pictures\/2020-07-18--Sprunce-Race-8-result-18.7.jpg-web.png\" alt=\"2020-07-18--Sprunce-Race-8-result-18.7.jpg-web.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This was the final running of Route 2 and race 9 over Route 3 is now open. Details of Race 3 are in the Calendar.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 48 runners ran Route 2 of whom 11 ran it all 4 times.
