On the plus side, it was good to welcome Big Bob back to the fold, and to note that his body compass remains completely in tune with his environment.  Whilst others (notably young Mr McGuinness) struck out for, well, who knows where, Bob&#8217;s feelings for landscape ensured we never strayed too far from the intended route.  For myself, I knew where I was for possibly 4% of the entire trip, and in the best traditions of personal responsibility cared not one jot.
