Ambleside Ladies were gearing up for next week&#8217;s race, with also a look around Buckden. Clearly getting their act together. Hazel was 1st Lady, visiting Mike was 1st MV40. You don&#8217;t hang around on these BOFRA races. This was a shortened version of Leg 1 of the Relays : a dash on the road over the bridge, hammer up the hill, and hammer even harder back down again. A worried Carshare fears that Health and Safety has, of all things, come to the notice of BOFRA organisers, as the usual river crossing wasn&#8217;t included at the finish.
