The run began by stumbling up Blackden Rind and then up to a notch(?) in the top opposite Seal Stones. From here the group set off towards Hartshorne, Mr Harmer electing to take the long route in a sort of semicircular fashion, the real navigators went straight there! A good old-fashioned bogtrot followed over to Kinder Gates via the river and then with the gathering mist and gloom, back towards Seal Stones, the hardier souls taking the direct route, whereas the more sensible ones went for the edge path.\u00a0The run off Seal Stones to the cars is arguably one of the best descents in the Peak and they&#8217;ve even put a stile and access sign at the bottom, where previously we thought we were trespassing.
