Moz was to be congratulated for designing a course that even he managed to get lost on, as he (and a number of others) failed to find the pond near Friar&#8217;s Ridge which those that did find it, did so as a pure fluke!! The going was\u00a0officially\u00a0described as &#8220;moist&#8221; to good which meant that we were wading knee deep through a good portion of this &#8220;race&#8221; \u00a0The checkpoints for interests sake where:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the haunted house on the conduit<\/li>\n<li>the small pond in the middle of nowhere near the lodge<\/li>\n<li>the bus shelter near High Neb<\/li>\n<li>the other pond in the middle of nowhere, near the lodge<\/li>\n<li>the pond in the middle of nowhere on Friar&#8217;s ridge<\/li>\n<li>Rud Hill\u00a0summit\u00a0in the middle of nowhere<\/li>\n<li>a long\u00a0wallow\u00a0back to the start\/finish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>My meanderings are shown below!!<\/p>\n<p>Chris Barber<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[gpx2graphics map 532]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A mild night and a good turnout.
