Whither is fell-runnings youth?<br \/>Cold and frozen slippy higher up, and even for an AS race, full body cover was insisted on &#8211; easy for those who take the lot to every race regardless. Sticky labels didn&#8217;t all have times on, so no results just yet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"color: #4f81bd;\">Buttermere Shepherd&#8217;s Meet:-&nbsp;<\/span> <\/span>&#8220;Glorious weather in Buttermere greeted us for this marvellous short race up<br \/>\nthe slopes of Whiteside, crazy descent <span>obligatory<\/span>.  Will was out of the<br \/>\nstarting gate like a bullet and Tom climbed well to the turn point and made an<br \/>\nunderstandably cautious descent on his come back from a bad injury.  Rhys,<br \/>\ninstead of leading the way cheered us all on from the side lines nursing his<br \/>\nhead from the night before.  A note for you slightly older Dark Peak runners,<br \/>\nthe loudest cheer of the day went to 79 year old Jack Esqurit when he <span>crossed<\/span> the line &#8211; and not in<br \/>\nlast place!As well as the senior fell race there were junior races, sheep shows,<br \/>\nCumberland wrestling and the amazing hound dog trails.  Put it in your calendar<br \/>\nfor next year&#8217;s school holidays.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">High Peak Marathon:-<\/span><span> is some while off, but Tim Rippon is keen, &#8220;I&#8217;ve done HPM for last 2 yrs and would like to joing team for 2013 that would be<br \/>\nlooking to complete in around 10 hrs. Available for day\/night recce and plenty<br \/>\nof training!
