The hills are still there, race or not, and anyone keen enough can still trot over the course\u2026\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Percy Pud:-<\/span> is also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steelcitystriders.co.uk\/\">cancelled,<\/a> but check the link for it possibly being held next Sunday, 12th December .<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Gravy Pud &#8211; <span style=\"color: #000000\">Cancelled but alternative race over the <\/span><\/span>Round the Resers Race course, nobody there, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fellrunner.org.uk\/results.php?id=562\">results<\/a> anyhow. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><font color=\"#000000\"><\/font>Cardington Cracker \u2013 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">a long way to South Shropshire, but it\u2019s one of the very, very best AM races going\u2026<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fellrunner.org.uk\/results.php?id=563\">Results<\/a> \u2026and a couple of travellers\u2026     <br \/>&quot;I set off from Sheffield to share a lift with a friend from Derby, Tim Oakes. Half way down the M1 I nearly decided to turn back due to the treacherous icy conditions on the M1.&#160; With only 30 minutes to spare we arrived in Cardington after a careful drive, registered, quickly got changed and dashed to the start. After all that I&#8217;m glad I made the journey. It packed in a number of steep climbs and with great wintery conditions made for a great race and day out. In places it was a little icy, especially on some of the descents, but this added to the experience.
