English Championship. \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.holmfirthharriers.com\/results\/holme_moss10.html\">results<\/a><font color=\"#000000\">&#160; Oops and apologies, I\u2019d missed Greg off the sticky labels, soon to be sorted\u2026        <br \/>&#160;&#160; <font color=\"#0000ff\">Senior Men<\/font> \u2013 2nd \u2013 Pudsey well ahead with 5 high counters. Still 1st, but we have to beat Pudsey at Shelf Moor\u2026         <br \/>&#160;&#160; <font color=\"#0000ff\">Ladies <\/font>: 2nd, behind Todmorden, but 1st Yorkshire Team. Congratulations indeed to them, but where are our non-Vet Lady runners? I make us still 1st, one point ahead of Keswick\u2026         <br \/>&#160;&#160; <font color=\"#0000ff\">V40 Men<\/font> \u2013 1st : Still 1st, but we also need to win at Shelf Moor, ahead of Borrowdale \u2013 though countback may come to our aid\u2026.         <br \/>&#160;&#160; <font color=\"#0000ff\">V40 Ladies<\/font> \u2013 1st and 1st overall in the Championships ;         <br \/>&#160;&#160; <font color=\"#0000ff\">V50 Men<\/font> \u2013 2nd. One last effort at Shelf Moor will give us 3rd overall\u2026.         <br \/>Wet and windy setting off, but the day fared up, becoming very pleasant at the presentations. The heavy, typical Peak running seems to have come as a surprise to many visitors\u2026         <br \/>&#160; What a superb job, every year, the organiser does. Loads and loads of prizes, loads of food, a race put on by someone who knows what runners want from a race.         <br \/>(those steep climbs out of Ramsden Clough are easy if you sit down and eat the bilberries\u2026)<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">FRA Relays \u2013 SUNDAY \u2013 17th October. <font color=\"#000000\">These are in Fife,<\/font> <font color=\"#000000\">the other side of the Alva\/Dollar hills. To be precise, it\u2019s Falkland, but not too far off. Probably from the hilltop we could watch the St Andrews Golf thing\u2026.160 Teams accepted, and 5 teams from each club, so we can potentially have Senior Men, Senior Ladies, MV40, LV40, MV50. Entries will be taken in August. 6 first-claim runners per team.        <br \/>&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; ASAP \u2013 please contact Team Captains if you are wanting to run, there\u2019s no sense in putting a Team in, and last minute finding out that people won\u2019t travel.         <br \/><font color=\"#0000ff\"><font color=\"#000000\"><font color=\"#0000ff\">Senior Men<\/font> \u2013 Rob Little \u201c<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/font>will be selecting the team for relays this year. Provided our IoM resident can make it, there will be at least one MV40 in the team.
