An awful race which has never been repeated, thankfully. It was the same ascent of Winder, off the end going to Arant Haw the same, but at that little col, we broke back down right to that farm gate on the outrun. Then repeated it twice more to make three laps. The third climb of Winder was a right hot, wobbly affair. I was first from DPFR, 56th out of 114 – how our standard and participation has improved. Andy Dickenson was 65th, Pete Dyke – 89th, Colin Henson – 91st. No team points and no Ladies. But also running were Joe – – 16th, John Hunt – 29th, and many other stalwarts still running yesterday…

Pendle Cycle Fest:- Martin Stocks did this nearly 100mile thing on Saturday, have a read of his report, here . And a reminder that anything goes onto Carshare, whatever you’ve been up to – there’s much more happening than fell running..
– Our friends in Clayton help out with “ It was a really well organised enjoyable event – 95 miles on the Garmin, with about 10,000′ of climb!
