Look out for this race next year….

A right classic if ever there is one, 13ml, 7000ft. Langdale, over both Scafells, round the back and home over Blisco.
A superb trip round, as good as it gets. Hopefully Martin’s photos to come. Clear, cool, dry. Considering other happenings, a very good turnout from our Lakeland Specialists – which was noticed and remarked upon - – Mike (4th) : Matt (5th) : Jon Coe (7th) : Gavin (8th) : Dave Sykes (9th) : Jenny Caddick – 1st Lady.
Round to Scafell is the more straightforward part, then finding the way off Slight Side invites errors, as does wandering across to the Little Stand col. The views from registration north and east across to the Trent valley were worth the trip in themselves. The running was on footpaths and tracks round the Hunshelf Parish boundary – well marked and marshalled at all the critical points. The perennial debate of how to award prizes was stoked by the organisers, but none should feel hard done by given the quality and quantity of the prizes. For those few without prizes, the tea and scones in the cricket pavilion went down a treat.” –( Lewis )

Sutton Pinnacles – results. Here’s a poser for you…Where’s this then?
