The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.munrorun2000.co.uk\/finale.php\">current Munro record<\/a> was set by Charlie Campbell in 2000. \u201cThis is now on Day 20, progress can be followed <a href=\"http:\/\/munros2010.blogspot.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Alan Yates\u2019 \u2013 Joss Naylor Challenge.&#160; &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.justgiving.com\/alfieJNC\">report<\/a>\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">15 Trigs:-<\/span> \u201c<span style=\"color: #000000\">Tony Wimbush continues the current trend of completions. He went round on Friday (6th) in 14.25<\/span>\u201d        <br \/>And Ian adds:- \u201c<\/span><\/span>Another two went round yesterday, Wednesday 12th) &#8211; Ray Baines and Yiannis got round yesterday in 14:31. A good race, but no travellers, understandably with Burbage being a home fixture. Running conditions were good with fantastic views. This makes a good explore of different parts of Pendle Hill, runners forever in search of best lines \u2013 or strangers looking for a Clayton vest. Dry on the moors, into a cold headwind coming back over to the trig point. Starting from scenic Downham Village, the setting for Whistle Down The Wind \u2013 if anyone can remember that far back\u2026<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Buttermere\/Sailbeck<\/span>:-&#160; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fellrunner.org.uk\/results\/race10\/10_buttermere_sailbeck.html\">results<\/a>    <br \/><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Cressbrook&#160; &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cressbrookclub.org.uk\/\">results<\/a>      <br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">     <br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottishislandspeaksrace.com\/\">Scottish Islands Peaks Race<\/a>.&#160; <span style=\"color: #000000\">David Ward has \u201c<\/span><\/span> been offered an entry on the trimaran &quot;Memec&quot; in the race, which starts in Oban on Friday ,21st May and finishes in Troon on the Sunday. Having spoken to the skipper, the crew are very competitive, they usually finish in the top 3 and are going for the win this year! The running stages are done as a pair so I&#8217;m looking for a partner to join me around Mull, Jura and Arran. Previous experience of long races such as the Isle of Jura and night navigation (on the hills, not the seas!) would be advantageous.
