Great route with a small but perfectly formed field. Wet on the flanks of Caw but extensive booze-filled prize list. Recommended!\u201d     <br \/>DT \u2013 these midweek Lakes races are a step up from Peak midweeks, Caw \u2013 AM. 6ml, 1800ft, and Dockray, AM, 6ml, 2000ft\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Dockray-Hartside:- <a href=\"http:\/\/joefaulkner.blogspot.com\/2010\/05\/dockray-hartside-fell-race-results-2010.html\">results.<\/a> <font color=\"#000000\">was a cracking race. \u00a31.00 entry, no prizes, which seems perfect to me. Anyone remember the AL Dockray-Helvellyn race, which was one of the original four Superlong Lakeland Classics? It was Championship in 1998, and our runners were Mark Hayman (9th) \u2013 anyone in touch with Mark these days?. DT, Jacky Smith and Clive Last. 4 runners, and compare that with Coniston \u2013 how the club has improved over recent years.            <br \/>&#160; So we started the same, with a horrible mile of gradually uphill road, but then let loose on open fell, no marshals, touch the cairn at each CP, wobble up Hartside and try to find the right local to get back to the finish. <a href=\"http:\/\/joefaulkner.blogspot.com\/2010\/05\/dockray-hartside-fell-race_07.html\">race report<\/a>.            <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukresults.net\/2010\/keswickhalf.html\">Keswick Half Marathon:-<\/a> Carshare notices that Phil is going well on these roads, winning the half-marathon. <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Tiger\u2019s Todger<\/span>&#160; -&#160; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totleyac.org.uk\/2010Series\/Todger_r10.html\">results<\/a>. \u201c<\/font><\/span>looking at the FRA handbook, Stuart Bond&#8217;s old record for the Todger was 32:54 (2009). He finished this year in 31:50. Whilst this must in part be due to surface &quot;improvements&quot; on the course and dry conditions under foot, this ought not detract from a good effort taking more that a minute off the time for a short race!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.conistonfellrace.org.uk\/\">Coniston Results<\/a> \u2013 <font color=\"#000000\">Are out, but no Age Category, Ladies and Ladies Vets both 1st : Senior Men and V40 \u2013 both 2nd. Warm, dry, but it gradually changed to hail for us slower runners on Old Man. As is now the usual case, lots of DPFR support, good to have the Ladies out this year. Our driver wanted to get away, so no idea of the results. Ian Holmes was first, looks like he made the most of that rough descent \u2013 as usual. Seniors should have done well, and also the Vets. V50\u2019s are struggling this year, but enough of us got round. No idea of how the Ladies went on.
