The Best of the Fells<\/a><\/font>:-  \u201cThe Best of the Fells is a collection of fell race accounts, written by runners, and featuring a wide range of races and challenges across the UK (and a few beyond). Read it for entertaining accounts of the Bob Graham Round, the Fellsman, classic Lake District fell races, the Ben Nevis Race, the Grizzly and many more. Thirty-five different running clubs and fifty runners have contributed to the book. All proceeds from the book are being donated to UK Mountain Rescue.\u201d <\/p>\n

Edale Skyline Carparking Marshalls:- <\/font>:-  Greg Rimmer is \u201crallying troops to marshal the Car Parking for the Skyline, I think last year there were 6 of us and it ran quite smoothly. This year there are only two of us so far, which will mean mayhem and madness in and around Edale as people don\u2019t park in the right places. It\u2019s one of only a few opportunities you\u2019ll ever get to both be a marshal and run an AL race! Last year at least three of us did the job then ran\u2026 This year it could be you! Cloud Nine<\/a><\/font> \u2013 Sunday 7th March. The calendar mentions E.O.Day, but most likely to fill up, so best to save \u00a31 and pre-enter\u2026<\/p>\n

Chew Valley Skyline<\/a><\/font> \u2013 March 7th \u2013 the original course, which I\u2019ve not done, is pre-entry\u2026Can anyone please help with route notes? I\u2019ve got the CP\u2019s, but linking them up will be thoughtful, to say the least\u2026.<\/p>\n

Silent Valley \u2013 Ireland. <\/font>Well, here it is\u2026.We start at the very far end of that reservoir, do plenty of big climbs to the L of this picture, and this is the second part of the course. The steep pointed thing is Doan, that on the far right is Slieve Muck, then across to that one above the reservoir \u2013 Slievenaglogh. Big hills indeed , but the navigational handrail of the Mourne Wall will help considerably. Maps to come\u2026.<\/font><\/p>\n
