(53rd on Leg)

Lynn reports:- “A last minute drop out meant Darrell had to save the day and run in the ladies team. Apparently you have to have 5 men to be a mixed team so not too surprisingly with 9 women and 1 bloke we didn’t get into the prizes in the open category!! Most of the team were unaware when they did their leg that we had a man in our midst and nobody seemed bothered when they found out. The ground was frozen solid with frequent patches of ice to negotiate but with blue skies and sunshine it would have been difficult not to enjoy the day. Thanks to everyone who turned out and represented the club, to Darrell and Jo for agreeing at the eleventh hour to getting up at 5am along with Amy (who at least had a bit of warning) and Jon and Tony for helping with the ever complicated travel arrangements. As always I really enjoyed this brilliantly organized event. I haven’t really worked out why so many Dark Peakers want to run Calderdale and not this relay. You don’t know what you are missing!”

Kinder Trial:- provisional results . Tom Brunt round first, and then Lloyd.

Kendal Winter League – Birkrigg Common – results , and a 2nd (1st V40) for Mike.

Noonstones. Entries are closed, here’s the entry list. Lots of us there, could be some very good teams….I’ll put out Route Notes later, but if you need them – just send through.
