Our Leg3 – it all seems so easy afterwards, studying the map carefully over breakfast. But ….teams coming from everywhere. Those who’d had a chance to look at their route benefitted greatly. A right good event, lots of work putting it all on, and CFR got it right in every way.
As for the disq’s – there can’t be many grumbles, as we need to visit every checkpoint. Then Keith and Mark round the long Leg2 good enough. Leg 3 navigation was hard, a distinct wobble on two of the CP’s, but perhaps we didn’t get as much lost as others. Paul Addison worked wonders, with no help from me, to get us round. Then a flying fastest Leg 4 from Steve Storey. Big thanks, Keith, for sorting everything out – and bringing home a medal.
