There wasn&#8217;t much route variation as it was easier to follow trods through snow than do your own thing (as I found out when I tried to cut corner to ruin). We went a very strange way to the last checkpoint but it was good! Excellent day out with plenty of soup and sandwiches at the finish! &#8220;<\/p>\n<p>From Mick:- &#8220;brilliant sunshine and a nice hard run on the moors, with deep snow in places and still the bogie places to catch you out. lots of people going walk-about.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; And &#8211; the first of many? &#8211; 1st team, in a travelling, important race.
