Hardest thing was to come away without a prize &#8211; nothing expensive, but a table creaking under the weight of bottles and chocolate. Now how many races follow this example, with completely minimal profits?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wfra.org.uk\/\">Y Garn Results:- <\/a>&#8220;The race was won by Dave Taylor of Dark Peak (also 1st over 40) in a time of 28 minutes and 17 seconds&#8221; &#8211;\u00a0 a most successful North Wales Raid&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.conistonfellrace.org.uk\/\">Coniston Results<\/a>:- Lakes running at its very best. Warm, dry, clear &#8211; no deviations like last year. Enough time to look across and around. No problems until that drop off Coniston, where the best precise line is still a tightly held secret. Unfortunately a broken leg on the descent &#8211; \u00a0a reminder to take body cover and the invaluable service provided by Mountain Rescue. A welcome return from Andy Dickenson, and Matt getting back to full strength and speed. Mike was first of us home, immediately followed by Craig.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cvfr.co.uk\/Races\/Coiners\/Coiners%202008(p).pdf\">Coiners Results:- <\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 Jim taking 1st V40, followed immediately by Steve Storey, raiding another 1st V50 prize.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/shr.uk.com\/RaceResults.aspx?RaceID=RA-0033&amp;RaceYear=2008\">Stuc a Chroin Results<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 Tim Hawley and Richard Hakes out on this superb Scottish course.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukresults.net\/2008\/hameldon.html\">Great Hameldon Results:-<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It&#8217;s not easy at V70, with Barry running so well, but only 4th V70&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.joefaulkner.com\/gl3d_08_results.html\">Great lakeland 3Day MM Results\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0 &#8211;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/myweb.tiscali.co.uk\/kiveal\/\">Ravenstones<\/a>:-\u00a0\u00a0 only Steve Storey there (11th) &#8230;.thought this would have got more support?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wrayvillage.co.uk\/scarecrows.htm\">Wray Caton Moor Results<\/a>:- 6.75ml, 1100ft. (Lancaster) &#8211; \u00a0worth trying to fit in sometime for the totally excellent Scarecrow Festival. They&#8217;d done a good effort with the course, private fields and boggy moorland fell, all runnable. Thousands coming for the scarecrows, fair, stalls and usual attractions. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wrayvillage.co.uk\/2008scarecrowwinners.htm\">Photos <\/a>of Scarecrow Winners.
