Northern Cross Countryy Results<\/a>:- Thanks to Nigel for noticing that “<\/font>Phil was first home for Hallamshire at the Northern X\/C\/ Championships in Leeds at the weekend. He was 42nd, Oli Johnson 62nd, Mike Sprot 111th. Hallamshire came 4th team.”\u00a0<\/font><\/font> (I was half thinking of slipping down to Roundhay Park to watch…)<\/font><\/p>\n

Stanbury Splash Results<\/a>:- As cold as ever in that quarry, the most perishing start to any race? Once going it soon warmed up enough. This is probably the best of these courses, 3 climbs, 3 stream crossings and decent runnable fell paths. If value for money is a consideration then this is the place to be. At registration everyone got a bucketful of Soreen Malt Loaves, and the prize giving traditionally has more prizes than available people. Good to be joined by Trevor Milner, photo<\/a>, just visiting. Ian Holmes far, far ahead for his umpteenth consecutive win.
