Here is Simon’s Report:-As Hilary has already reported I had a great day out on the Bob Graham yesterday.
\n I was aiming for a 17h30 schedule so was really chuffed to get round in
\n17h20. Couldn’t have got anywhere close to this without a fantastic support
\nteam who kept me supplied with liquid all the way round – Charlie Adams &
\nJonathan Bradshaw (1), Malcolm Patterson & Neil Conway (2), Alan Ward & John
\nBoyle (3), Dave Harrison & Paul Hague (4), Mark Chapman,Mike Sprot & Andy Middleditch (5).
\nMixed weather conditions with low cloud to start – in particular zero visibility all the way from Clough Head to Helvellyn – with Malcolm & Neil’s navigation being absolutely spot on.
\n We were 23 mins up on schedule at Dunmail then it started getting a bit
\ntoo warm for comfort. Luckily John had a ‘Paula Radcliffe’ white cap in his
\nrucsac which saved me from getting too fried. Was still over 20 mins up
\non schedule at Wasdale – then dropped 10 minutes on leg 4.
