Winter Mondays<\/a>:-<\/font> 10 runners turned up to last night’s run. Darren was unable to make it giving a much tighter race with the ‘fast\u00a0start’ all reaching the top of the second climb\u00a0by BarDike in a tight pack. It was anybody’s race from then on. <\/font>Next session is hill reps, next race is in two weeks with the big climbs to Bar Dike and back to Bolsterstones 7.8 miles and 1,250ft.

<\/font>Missing Races? <\/font>Perhaps I’ve missed something, being up north, but no Wart’s Revenge? But wait! See Chris Barber’s comment, the Wart’s Revenge is indeed set to go ahead, 24th November?…..Also the Crashout will have it’s usual spot in the Calendar. Boxing Day Race???\u00a0 <\/font>I’ll not be putting on a New Year’s Day Race, nor the Edale circle. A shame that these should fade away, and they don’t need much organising. But the good news is that Ian Winterburn is ready with some Winter Races, Chris Barber has a Midhopestones run ready, as last year – just awaiting the Calendar to find out the empty weekends….<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
