Thank you for your interest in the Fell LiRF or Fell CiRF coaching courses which were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. These courses will not resume in their previous form. Instead prospective Leaders and Coaches wishing to take runners off-road should first gain the standard LiRF or CiRF qualification, and subsequently take an additional off-road module covering fell, hill trail and mountain terrain. As the first step to becoming off-road trained you should book on the standard courses via this link<\/a> on the EA website (or the equivalent in the other Home Countries). <\/p>\n The FRA are currently working with UK Athletics to help develop this modular approach to the coaching pathway, and also updating and enhancing the content covering off-road training.
