The start and finish is on the grass area attached to the middle of the Car park at Crowden – GR SK072992. Please car share, we are using a public car park (free) which only has room for a limited number of cars.<\/p>\n

This number to be called out with a smile, and thank you, to the marshalls. Any retirements please inform a check point official or tell another runner that you have retired so the marshalls can know all are accounted for. Note that the west side of Crowden great brook has crags running virtually from CP1 to the northern end of Laddow rocks, take care wherever you descend. Also the finish is down a steep and stoney path so be considerate when elbowing your rivals into the rocks. <\/p>\n
The access to Open country is at 067995 and at the finish you must return via the stile at 071995<\/strong><\/p>\n Have a good outing, the course is relatively short but is rough in places and yet fast at the end, so should prove a good race for the fast runners. <\/p>\n N.B. They are expecting a good number, 50 or so, I have suggested that maybe 20 – 25 might want soup and maybe the same for chip butties as I have no idea who wants to have some food – of course meals are on offer as well.
